Season
December thru end of April/early May.
Practices:
Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00pm-7:30pm
Each practice will include 20 minutes of sand conditioning. We need to get our sand legs and lungs!
Practices begin Saturday December 12th.
Tournaments:
Tournaments are a bit different than indoor. There are 2 different types: pairs and club vs club.
Pairs tournaments: players will sign up on their own in pairs. Girls can pick and choose their partners and which tournaments to attend. We encourage them to play with different partners. These are one day events.
Club vs Club we go as a team. These events we take a team of 3 pairs (6 players). These are 2 half day events. The coaches will be evaluating players at practices and offering spots to represent B2. These squads might look different from one tourney to the next based on coach’s choice and due to availability of athletes. Not all athletes will get to attend the same amount of these events. We will do our best, dependent on number of players.

Intra squad and duel events at our facility on some of our weekends off of tournaments
Fees: Because beach schedules have such flexibility, we are doing fees a little different.
Team fee: $3,000
Included in team fee: coaching fees, coach’s travel, facility fee, apparel package, events at B2 during our season.
Not included in team fee:
Pairs tournaments entry fees (range between $60-$100/pair/tournament).
Club vs club event fees. Each club vs club team event will be invoiced separately to each player that is selected to attend. Fee will include coach travel & team entry fee. Approximately $175-$340 per event. Price ranges dependent upon location (example Folsom vs Santa Cruz).
Membership fees. Beach has many different associations we will compete under. Each player will need to buy separate memberships for each association. Example of associations: AVP, BVCA, BVNE, CBVA, AAU, NCVA. Each membership can range between $15-$75.
Apparel Package:
Beach apparel packages are the best! Because we play in all types of weather, players need gear for it all. When we compete at events, players must be wearing our logo.
So instead of spending all that money on expensive jerseys, we get gear that we can wear all the time.

Signing Day
We get to be a bit more relaxed with our signing day since we don’t have to follow the same rules as indoor.
Our signing/sizing day will be at our annual Halloween Tournament in October. Date is TBA. I am waiting for the release of high school schedules to make sure we don’t overlap with any tournaments.
We hope you will sign up to play in the high school tournament, but not necessary. Player and parent will need to come by to sign contract, fill out apparel form, and pay deposit or full fee.

$100 discount in paying in full ($2,900 total)
